Jackson Browne honors Danny

I got this e-mail from my friend and wanted to share it...
I went to the Jackson Browne Solo Acoustic concert in Santa Cruz on April 19th. The seats were 3rd row center and with the venue being so intimate, the seats were that much more extraordinary. It was my birthday present to myself and I shared the evening with my best friend's two oldest sons, the perfect gentlemen! During the show, people kept yelling out songs they wanted to hear Jackson play and anyone who has heard his solo acoustic albums or seen these shows knows he
hears the requests and sometimes will play them.
This night he was in a mood that wasn't upbeat; rather, he was dark, and his song selections mirrored his feelings. My friend suggested before the show that if I get the opportunity to yell something out I should ask him to play a song for Danny. What a great idea; rather than play something that I Adult Webcam to hear, play something for a lost contemporary, and it is his choice of song to honor him with.
I got the opportunity while he sat at his piano directly in front of us just before the intermission and said "How about playing a song for Danny Federici?". He stopped whatever song he was preparing for and the
expression on his face changed. It looked as if it went from whatever he was thinking about playing to realizing what I said. He then looked right at me with sad eyes, and with a somber tone in his voice he said, "Yeah", shaking his head. Not saying a word after that, he started changing things on his piano and you could tell he was thinking about what to play. When he was ready, he spoke into his microphone and said, "someone from the audience just requested I play a song for Danny Federici". The audience then applauded. He then played 'story't You Adult Webcam To Be There'. It was a beautiful song to sing for Danny.

In the place of fear Very nice don. Jackson is a truly soulful human being who himself has been profoundly touched by death. I met him once, and can say that he was quite sensitive regarding his music and how profoundly it touched my family and me. Nice don. I love when artists do things like that, makes me smile. very cool He's a good man. What a great don. That makes so happy Jackson Browne paid tribute to Danny. A few years back I was fortunate enough to shake his hand before a Springsteen concert. Jackson Browne really is a nice guy. Great don..I wish he were coming east this summer.I have so many good memories of catching him at SPAC during the summer.
I guess when you get old you start longing for the simplier times of your life.
Unlike some of the rude things I have said on this board in the last day or so out of anger, you sir (or madam) have so much class. What a wonderful don.
